Body found in Berkeley County residence under investigation

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — An investigation has been launched after a body was found in a residence.

Berkeley County deputies went to 559 Winebrenner Road at around 12:30 Saturday afternoon after someone discovered the body.

According to a news release, the body has been sent to the state Medical Examiner’s Office in Charleston for further evaluation. An autopsy was scheduled for Monday.
