Man killed in Morgan County ATV crash

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. — A Hampshire County man is dead following an ATV crash in Morgan County.

Morgan County Sheriff K.C. Bohrer said deputies were called Tuesday to Spook Hollow Lane for a call of an ATV crash with an injured person.

On scene, they found Ralph Barnes, 60 of Bloomery, dead from injuries believed to be sustained during an ATV rollover.

The accident happened on a private property. The body was taken to Medical Examiner Christy Duckwall for further evaluation.

South Morgan Volunteer Fire, Hedgesville Volunteer Fire and Morgan County EMS responded to the scene.
