Inwood man killed in Berkeley County crash

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Investigators have identified an Inwood man as the victim of a fatal accident.

West Virginia State Police confirm Orville Jackson, 27 of Inwood, was killed in a two-vehicle crash in the 4700 block of Arden Nollville Road west of Martinsburg. It happened shortly after 10 Wednesday night.

An investigation has revealed Jackson lost control of his vehicle heading southbound during rainy conditions and was struck by a northbound vehicle.

Jackson was taken to Berkeley Medical Center, where he succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash. The driver of the other vehicle was also taken to Berkeley Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.

Berkeley County Ambulance and South Berkeley Fire assisted on scene.
