Another unexpected weekend off for The Herd

By David Walsh

HUNTINGTON  – The Marshall University basketball team’s series with Florida Atlantic on Friday and Saturday at Cam Henderson Center has been postponed due to COVID-19 contact tracing within the FAU program.

Both programs are working with the Conference USA league office to reschedule the games. This is the Thundering Herd’s second home series postponed by the Coronavirus pandemic. The first was against Charlotte on Jan. 8-9.

Marshall’s scheduled to return to action Feb. 5-6 against Old Dominion in Norfolk, Va. Tipoff is 7 p.m. for each game.
