Less than 48 hours after Marshall’s all-time steals leader Jarrod West entered the NCAA transfer portal, Jannson Williams, the Thundering Herd’s all-time leader in blocks, has done the same.
Williams, a 6-foot-9 redshirt senior, entered the portal Wednesday.
Williams averaged 9.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and just over two blocks per game last season.
He became Marshall’s all-time blocks leader in February and had at least 29 blocks in all four seasons with the Herd, including 72 as a sophomore.
Williams scored 943 career points and made 172 three-pointers at MU.
