MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — A man wanted on numerous charges including attempted murder was arrested Friday, the U.S. Marshal Service said.
Quentrell Lowery, 21, of Martinsburg faces two counts of attempted murder stemming from an incident Jan. 29 in the 5400 block of Williamsport Pike.
The U.S. Marshals Mountain State Fugitive Task Force tracked Lowery to the 600 block of Panorama Drive in Martinsburg.
Authorities said the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team executed a search warrant Friday which resulted in Lowery’s arrest. He’s currently being held at the Eastern Regional Jail.
“We greatly appreciate the assistance of the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office. We are very fortunate in that our state and local SWAT teams are always willing to assist in the apprehension of our most dangerous fugitives. These teams are highly skilled and have proven to be a valuable resource, ” said acting U.S. Marshal Terry Moore in a news release.
