HealthNet Aeromedical Services recognized for focus on safety

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians and the American College of Emergency Physicians have recognized HealthNet Aeromedical Services for its focus on EMS practitioner and patient safety.

The Safety in EMS Award recognizes organizations that significantly contribute to advancing safety through various policies.

“HealthNet Aeromedical Services is honored to be nationally recognized for making operational safety of paramount concern,” said Clinton Burley, president and CEO of HealthNet Aeromedical Services. “Our Safety Department professionals work tirelessly to give our team members the resources needed to keep themselves and our patients safe because that is what matters most.”

HealthNet Aeromedical Services is headquartered in Charleston and offers critical care transportation. The organization has eight helicopter bases in West Virginia and one in Kentucky.

The National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians will present the award during its General Membership Meeting in October. The meeting will take place in Atlanta.
