A Jackson County Sheriff’s Office deputy assisted with the search and discovered a pipe bomb in a backpack located in the vehicle’s trunk.

Boggess, 26, pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm not registered in the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Act. His sentencing date is March 7, in which Boggess faces up to 10 years in prison.
