HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — A 20 year old Huntington man is dead following a shooting Wednesday night.
A spokesperson for the City of Huntington said police responded to reports of a shooting at a home in the 2700 block of Guyan Avenue at around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The victim has been identified as Charles Mentz Jr.
It’s unclear what lead to the shooting.
Detectives have accounted for all individuals present when the shooting occurred, and they have no reason to believe there is any threat to the general public.
An investigation continues.
