The recent vote covers employees who are drivers, work in the warehouse, merchandisers, vending technicians, sales employees and others.

“We are happy the Beckley employees have joined their brothers and sisters at Coca Cola facilities in Bluefield, Charleston, Logan, Parkersburg and Clarksburg as there truly is strength in numbers” said Jenna Jeffrey, Teamsters Local 175 Organizer, in a news release.

Teamsters Local 175 President Ken Hall said he’ll be preparing for upcoming contract negotiations.

“We look forward to begin the bargaining process and are hopeful the company will be willing to negotiate a contract that’s fair and reasonable for their Beckley employees,” Hall said.

Local 175 now represents more than 200 workers in West Virginia.

The National Labor Relations Board supervised the recent election.
