Troopers say man’s drowning death accidental

PEYTONA, W.Va. — A Boone County man drowned while fishing Saturday in the Big Coal River.

State police troopers said Timmy Hager, 64, of Peytona, drowned after falling into the river while fishing near Peytona Costa Road.

No foul play is suspected, according to troopers.
