Top WV Class of 2026 recruit Da’Ron Parks transfers to Cardinal Mooney in Florida

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — One of West Virginia’s top college recruits in the Class of 2026 will play his junior season in Florida. Hurricane High School offensive lineman Da’Ron Parks posted on social media Tuesday that he has transferred to Cardinal Mooney High School in Sarasota, Fla.

Cardinal Mooney won the Class 1S Florida State Championship last fall.

Parks is a 6-foot-5, 300-pound, 4-star recruit and he has received scholarship offers from several high-profile Division I programs. Parks holds offers from such schools as West Virginia, Alabama, Florida, Miami, N.C. State, Ohio State, Penn State and Tennessee.

Parks earned Class AAA first team All-State honors last fall in his sophomore season.
