Section of Corridor H to go up for bidding in September

PARSONS, W.Va. — A section of the Corridor H will soon be up for bidding.

The contract for the section of Corridor H that is expected to go up for bid in September, is Kerens to Parsons section.

Coridor H starts close to Weston and goes through parts of central West Virginia, then links with Interstate 81 in Virginia.

This project will build a new bridge across Roaring Run Creek for a future Corridor H connector.

It is also important to note that this project has been cleared by all federal steps necessary and has passed all environmental reviews, despite the Kerens to Parsons section in the consisting of rugged terrain.

Corridor H has just around 30 miles left before completion, as 120 miles of the route is open to the public.

Almost $2 billion has gone to funding the construction of Corridor H.
