BECKLEY, W.Va. — A man was arrested Saturday in connection to an armed robbery at the Beckley Captain D’s.
The call to police came in around 8:45 Saturday night after Captain D’s staff told officers former employee, Brandon Jefferson, 27, held a current employee at gunpoint and demanded money be deposited.
Jefferson fled the scene with $1,152.47 in cash but was apprehended at a nearby store where troopers located the stolen money, and the handgun used in the incident.
Jefferson is charged with First Degree Armed Robbery and Felon in possession of a firearm and use of firearm in the commission of a felony.
Jefferson is being held at the Southern Regional Jail.
