BERKELEY COUNTY, W.Va. — A Berkeley County woman has been arraigned after her three-year-old daughter died.
Jessica Davidson has been charged with Gross Child Neglect Creating Substantial Risk of Death.
On Sunday, Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to Berkeley Medical Center responding to a report that a three-year-old girl had died.
Law enforcement obtained a warrant for Davidson, the mother of the child, and brought her into custody.
Davidson was also charged with Domestic Battery from a separate incident.
Davidson is currently being held in the Eastern Regional Jail on a total of $11, 500 in bonds.
An investigation is ongoing.
