WILLIAMSON, W.Va. — The Tug Fork River was expected to crest Sunday evening at Williamson at 49 feet, the second highest level on record.
The flood wall saved downtown Williamson from major damage but other parts of Williamson, South Williamson, Kentucky and other parts of Mingo County took on significant damage.
