POINT PLEASANT, W.Va. — A Mason County man is being charged with First Degree Arson and three counts of Attempted Murder after allegedly setting a home on fire with people inside.

State Police troopers responded to a call on Tanglewood Drive in Point Pleasant on Tuesday in reference to a structure fire.

Upon investigating, they determined Tyler Allen Crump, 32, of Point Pleasant started the fire within the occupied residence.

Troopers say the occupants were able to escape the home without injury.
