TBT reveals schedule for West Virginia Regional

Best Virginia and Herd That are two of seven teams in the West Virginia Regional for this year’s version of The Basketball Tournament — and should each win its opening game in the event, they’d square off two days later.

TBT revealed the schedule for its West Virginia Regional on Tuesday, with six games slated from July 18-22 at the Charleston Coliseum.

A No. 2 seed, Herd That will open with No. 7 Sikh Warriors at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 18. Directly after, No. 3 Best Virginia takes on No. 6 DuBois Dream in a contest scheduled to tip at 8 p.m. The winners of both games will battle at 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 20 in a round-of-32 matchup to be aired nationally on FS1.

Elite Nation is the No. 1 seed in the West Virginia Regional and does not have a first-round game. It will face the winner of No. 4 Court Street Kings and No. 5 The Nawf.

The West Virginia Regional Championship will take place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22, with the winner then advancing to face the winner of the James Madison Regional in a quarterfinal round contest at 9 p.m. on Monday, July 28.

The semifinals of TBT are set for Thursday, July 31, while the $1 million winner-take-all title game will be played Sunday, August 3.
