BECKLEY, W.Va. — A woman is behind bars following a high-speed pursuit through Raleigh County Sunday.
The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office said some of their deputies attempted to stop a vehicle, later known to be driven by Hallie Graham, 25, along Harper Road just after 10 p.m. Sunday when they noticed the vehicle was traveling without headlights or tail lights on.

They said the vehicle allegedly accelerated when the deputy’s activated their cruiser’s lights. The vehicle was reported to have reached speeds of more than 70 miles per hour in a 30 mph zone, running a red light and passing other vehicles in a turning lane.
Deputies said a bag was tossed out of the window of the passenger’s side near the Kroger on Sandstone Drive before a male passenger fled the vehicle on foot.
Graham was arrested by Beckley Police once the vehicle came to a stop.
Police say a search of the vehicle yielded “a moderate amount” of suspected marijuana.
Graham is charged with fleeing with reckless indifference, driving without a license, and driving without insurance.
The sheriff’s office is still looking for the man who fled and that he has been identified.
