Update: Three Men Died of Gunshot Wounds After Fight Broke out in Truck

BUNKER HILL, W.Va. — The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office has released the names of the three Winchester, Virginia men found dead in a red pickup truck Tuesday in south Berkeley County.

On Tuesday, September 23, 2025, just after noon, deputies were dispatched to Quarry Road in Bunker Hill for a report of “suspicious circumstances.”

There, they found three men dead inside a Chevy Silverado.

Investigators believe an altercation took place inside the vehicle, “resulting in all three individuals sustaining gunshot wounds.”

Detectives believe one of the victims died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound but did not declare which of the three men that was.

The deceased men were identified as:

Dalton Weaver, 30

Evie Omps, 52

Darion Clevenger, 27

all from nearby Winchester, Virginia.

There are no outstanding suspects and no threat to the public, according to the sheriff’s department.

The incident remains under investigation.
