CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The state School Building Authority is ready to allocate millions of dollars as part of its “Needs” grants program.
With the Needs grants, the SBA awards funding to several counties that request funding for new school construction projects or renovation/maintenance projects.
At 10 a.m. Monday, the SBA will be selecting the districts that will be awarded. 32 counties put in requests, totaling about $170 million.
The SBA will be giving out approximately $43.5 million this year.
