MAYSEL, W.Va. – A Clay County man is in custody on first-degree murder charges following a reported shooting.
West Virginia State Police and Clay County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a residence in the community of Maysel on Thursday and found 31-year-old Savannah Keaton dead from a gunshot wound.
Richard Grad, 24, from Maysel, allegedly fled the scene after the shooting and later surrendered to investigators at another location.
Grad was charged with first-degree murder and transported to the Central Regional Jail.
