Harrison County man accused of making terroristic threats

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A Harrison County man was arrested after claiming he would wipe out Clarksburg in eight hours if he had bombs and machine guns.

Roy Rydholm, 68, made the threat to a person April 1. During a call with police April 2 he was reportedly slurring his words and made the threat again while denying he did so the day prior.

Police the two people who were threatened reported fear and emotional distress.

Rydholm has been charged with threats of terroristic acts and is being held in the North Central Regional Jail on a cash-only $100,000 bond.
