MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The City of Morgantown is now looking to hire professionals for two key management roles.
The city is working to hire a director for the Morgantown Municipal Airport and now will start looking for anew Director of Finance after the announced departure of Jonathan Furgison.
Furgison informed the city he will pursue other opportunities and will be on staff through May 20.
Furgison started with the city in July of 2024 after a three-year stint in the job by Kevin Tennant.
The city enlisted the services of ADK Consulting & Executive Search to develop candidates for the Morgantown Municipal Airport director position. The city is using the same firm that found the most recent airport director, Jonathan Vrabel.
The city will pay ADK Consulting & Executive Search a sun of $47,574 to help locate the next airport director.
