KINGWOOD, W.Va. — Deputies from the Preston County Sheriffs Department confiscated THC and Kratom products during a raid on Kingwood Tobacco & Vape Monday.
Deputies said during the raid of the shop on East Main Street deputies recovered was the result of an investigation into illegal possession of THC and Kratom products, as well as the controlled substances with the intent to deliver.
Officials said this is an ongoing investigation that also involves the Preston County Prosecutor, West Virginia Alcohol Beverage Control Administration, the state Department of Revenue, and the state Tax Department.
