Two arrested in Monongalia County state police pursuit

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — State police made two arrests as a result of a pursuit that started on I-68 Monday afternoon.

Troopers attempted to stop a speeding vehicle on the interstate at 12:41 p.m.

The driver fled onto Route 7 and pursuit ensued in the Sabraton area.

The driver and passenger were taken into custody in the vicinity of Dug Hill Road at 1:18 p.m.

The investigation remains active and more details are expected to be released.

No injuries were reported.
