Detroit man faces drug charges after search of Morgantown residence

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — A 39-year old Detroit man has been arrested for drugs following a safety check at a Morgantown residence.

Members of the Mon Metro Drug and Violent Crime Task Force said they encountered Melvin Dunham sleeping on a couch while serving a search warrant. Under the pillow Durham was laying on police said 207 grams of methamphetamine, 26 grams of crack cocaine, 13 grams of fentanyl, and packaging materials were found.

Dunham has been charged with three counts of possession with intent to deliver and is being held in the North Central Regional Jail on a $30,000 bail.
