DUNBAR, W.Va. — A man wanted for a shooting death in Florida is in custody in West Virginia.
The U.S. Marshal Service said its CUFFED Task Force arrested Matthew Waggle, 33, at the Super 8 Motel in Dunbar Wednesday night.
Authorities have been looking for Waggle in connection with last Sunday’s shooting of a woman near a residence outside of Vero Beach, Florida.
The woman’s body was found in a roadway. She later died at a hospital.
The U.S. Marshal Service in Florida said it had learned Waggle was in West Virginia.
He’s now in custody awaiting extradition back to Florida.
