West Virginia’s women’s basketball program didn’t have to look far for its latest recruit.
Morgantown High School senior Kayli Kellogg, the daughter of Mountaineers’ head coach Mark Kellogg, offered a commitment Thursday night to WVU.

Kellogg earned first-team all-state honors in Class AAAA as a freshman and sophomore before missing all of last season due to a torn ACL.
The guard was an instrumental part of the Mohigans’ state runner-up teams in 2024 and 2025, and averaged 21 points, five rebounds and five assists as a sophomore.
Kellogg, who is on track to play her senior season at MHS, had several Division I offers before opting to stay home and play for her father.
In three seasons as WVU head coach, Mark Kellogg is 78-23 and has led the Mountaineers to one NCAA Tournament win in each campaign.
