Elkins vape shop raided, THC, guns, cash seized

ELKINS, W.Va. — Multiple agencies, including the Randolph County Sheriff’s Department raided an Elkins vape shop and and two homes confiscating more than three pounds of THC illegal products, guns and cash.

On August 18, West Virginia State Police, The state Department of Agriculture, members of the Mountain Region Drug & Violent Crime Task Force and deputies raided the Twisted Smoke Shack and two employee residences.

Police said more than three pounds of illegal marijuana products, four firearms and more than $16,000 in currency was seized.

Officials from the state Department of Agriculture said an additional 32 boxes of unapproved product the store was not allowed to sell was also confiscated.

Brandi Harris and Megan Daniels have each been charged with possession with intent to deliver and are being held in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail.
