Ritchie County picked up its first win of the season with a 12–0 victory over St. Marys in a defensive battle.

The Rebels scored all 12 of their points in the first half before both defenses took control of the game. Turnovers proved costly for St. Marys, as the Blue Devils gave the ball away multiple times and struggled to put together scoring drives.

St. Marys had opportunities to get back into the game during the second half, including trips into the red zone, but the Ritchie defense came up with stops when it mattered most.

Ritchie held St. Marys scoreless the rest of the way to secure the 12–0 shutout and its first victory of the season.
