Man dead after being hit by train in Charleston

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A man died after being hit by a CSX train Sunday afternoon in Charleston.

The collision was reported at around 3 p.m. on CSX tracks near Chesterfield Ave. in Kanawha City.

Charleston police responded and the man’s body was recovered.

An investigation is underway.
