FAIRMONT, W.Va. — A 60-year old Marion County woman has been indicted in connection with a fatal hit-and-run outside a Fairmont bar last October.
Police allege Donna Batson backed over a man outside the Bellview Bar and Grill last October after an argumant and left the scene without calling for help. The victim later died from the injuries suffered.
Baston has been indicted for driving under the influence of alcohol, controlled substances or drugs resulting in death and for leaving the scene of a crash resulting in death.
Baston entered a guilty plea in connection with a April 2026 arrest for driving while intoxicated and reckless driving and was sentenced to 60 days in jail.
