MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The West Virginia Secondary School Activities Commission has released brackets for the regional volleyball tournaments. This is the third year for the four-class structure in volleyball. In a new format this year, regional play has returned to a single-elimination format.
In Class AAAA, four teams will advance to the state tournament from each region. In the other three classes, two teams will advance to the state tournament from each of the four regions. Regional play may begin Monday, October 26.
Charleston will host the state tournament from November 10-12.
Morgantown (Class AAAA), Herbert Hoover (Class AAA), Oak Glen (Class AA) and Wirt County (Class A) are the defending champions.
