GLENVILLE, W.Va. — West Virginia scored 21 straight points in the first half and never looked back in a 109-66 win at Glenville State Friday night in an exhibition at the Waco Center.

Mountaineer freshman guard Miles Sadler was one of five double-figure scorers in the win and led all players with 18 points. Brenen Lorient (14 points), Martin Somerville (11), Mouhamed Sylla (10) and Javan Buchanan (10) were also in double figures, while Finley Bizjack and Keonte Greybear scored nine apiece and MJ Feenane added eight with a pair of three-pointers.

WVU shot 34 for 72 from the field, 12 for 37 on triples and made 23-of-28 free-throw attempts, while recording 20 assists against 10 turnovers as a team. Sadler’s six assists led all players and he had only one turnover.

Prince Mosengo led the Pioneers with 17 points. Former Shady Spring High School standout Ammar Maxwell scored 13 in defeat and former South Harrison all-state selection Corey Boulden added 10.

The Mountaineers had a 43-21 rebounding advantage and are back in action Wednesday when they play their third and final exhibition of the season against another Mountain East Conference program in Wheeling.
