Webster County man jailed after allegedly making threats toward school, principal

HACKER VALLEY, W.Va. — A Webster County man is in jail after allegedly twice making threats in connection with Hacker Valley Elementary School.

Frankie Williams (WVRJA)

State police troopers said Frankie Williams, 39, of Hacker Valley, made threats against the school’s principal on Thursday night. Troopers went to his house but he refused to speak with them and ran into the woods behind his residence.

Troopers said on Friday, Williams made a threat aimed at the school while he was in Holly River Grocery. The school was placed on lockdown as a precaution, troopers said.

Williams is charged with three counts of making terroristic threats. He’s being held in the Central Regional Jail.
