Car fire claims life in Cabell County

BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va. — One person died in a car fire Saturday morning near Barboursville.

Police said two cars parked next to an apartment building in the 5800 block of East Pea Ridge Road caught fire at just before 3 a.m. One of the cars, with a victim inside, went over an embankment.

Police were continuing their investigation Saturday afternoon.
