Troopers investigate Clay shooting death

Troopers were on then scene Friday of a shooting death in Clay County.

CLAY, W.Va. — A Clay County man was shot and killed in the tent he lived in outside of Clay Friday, state police said.

Ronald Lee Boggs, 46, of Clay, was found dead in the encampment that he shared with a few other people.

According to troopers, there were witnesses to the shooting. No arrests have been made.

The death was reported at around 8:30 a.m. Friday.
