WHEELING, W.Va. — A man’s body was recovered from the Ohio River near Wheeling Wednesday afternoon.
A release from the Wheeling Police Department said a construction worker on Interstate 70 spotted the body at around 12:45 p.m. near the mouth of Wheeling Creek.
The body was taken to the state Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. Wheeling police will be reviewing missing persons cases.
