HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. — Multiple crews have been on the scene of a barn fire off Back Creek Valley Road near Hedgesville.
The blaze was first reported at around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The fire at 6523 Back Creek Valley Road has reportedly spread to multiple outbuildings including the bar. The fire threatening the home on the property, as well.
Scanner traffic indicated one of the challenges was trying to get about 150 bales of hay apart. Wind gusts were also presenting a challenge.
First responders have blocked off Back Creek Valley Road in the area of the Bow and Gun Club.
Crews from Morgan County, the Air National Guard and neighboring states have responded to the blaze.
