HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Police have found and arrested a suspect in a shooting from last week.
Chase Misner, 20, of Huntington, allegedly fired a shot from a gun that struck a victim in the shoulder at around 7 a.m. on September 17 in the 600 block of 31st Street. The victim was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Police said the victim is in stable condition.
A collaborative effort from Cabell County sheriff’s deputies, Huntington police, and Home Confinement officers found Misner in a Huntington home. Authorities said he was taken into custody without any trouble.
Misner is charged with two counts of wanton endangerment and one count of malicious assault. He’s now being held in the Western Regional Jail.
