CHARLESTON, W.Va. — An investigation is underway after a body was pulled from the Kanawha River Thursday afternoon.
The body was spotted at around 11:45 a.m. near the 35th Street Bridge. The initial call came in as a drowning.
Charleston police and firefighters were called to the scene.
Authorities will attempt to make positive identification.
