No Drinking at Sutton Lake

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is banning alcohol at Sutton Lake.

The Corps is hoping to reduce the number of boating accidents and disturbances in campground areas.

A previous order in 1988 had restricted alcohol in the Bee Run and dam site recreation areas.  Under the new expansion, a person can receive a federal citation for drinking at Sutton Lake.

The restriction takes effect on June 15th.
