Woman Dead In St. Albans Fire

An 82-year-old woman is dead following a Friday afternoon fire in St. Albans.

Geraldine Parsons was pulled from her 2nd Ave. home at about 1 p.m. First responders say she had a faint pulse when she was rescued but she later died.

Investigators say there were no working smoke detectors in the home. No word yet on what started the blaze.
