Norfolk Southern has announced plans to layoff workers at it’s Williamson rail yard.
A Norfolk Southern official said 10 company employees that work in the mechanical department are going to be furloughed.
Their job duties include maintaining and repairing rail cars.
It is not known how long the 10 employees will be furloughed for.
