BECKLEY, W.Va. — Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of a Sunday afternoon fatal house fire.
The Beckley Fire Department was dispatched to the 300 block of North Kanawha Street at around 4:30 Sunday afternoon. The road was blocked for a couple of hours while crews worked.
The state Fire Marshal’s Office has confirmed one male died. His identity has yet to be released.
Authorities are still uncertain what caused the blaze.
