Fayette County man reportedly holds woman at gunpoint in car for several hours

SCARBRO, W.Va. — A Fayette County man is facing several charges after he allegedly held his girlfriend at gunpoint while making multiple threats.

Danny Lee Kincaid, 35, of Scarbro, was taken into custody Monday after the woman told authorities he had forced her to remain inside the couple’s vehicle for several hours, while intermittently pointing a firearm at her and at himself.

The woman, whose identity was not disclosed, also said Kincaid had threatened to “shoot up” the Scarbro market. Kincaid was arrested on a felony count of making a terroristic threat and misdemeanor counts of brandishing a deadly weapon and domestic assault.

He is being held at Southern Regional Jail while awaiting arraignment.
