Fairmont Senior’s Bridges headed to Scotland Campus Prep School

FAIRMONT, W.Va. — One of West Virginia’s highest-profile basketball prospects announced he will enroll at prep school.

Fairmont Senior’s Jalen Bridges tweeted Sunday that he will enroll at Scotland Campus in Pennsylvania.

A 6-foot-7 Rivals three-star prospect, Bridges won the Bill Evans Award this season as the top player in West Virginia high school basketball.

In leading the Polar Bears to a 26-2 season, he  averaged 22.2 points a game, 6.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 2.0 blocks and 1.9 steals. Bridges led Fairmont Senior a fourth consecutive spot in the Class AA championship game.

Bridges will graduate from Fairmont Senior this month but announced last fall that he planned to reclassify for the Class of 2020. He holds over 20 Division 1 offers, including West Virginia and Marshall. Bridges has collected offers from TCU, Pittsburgh and Illinois during the past week.

Bridges tweeted that his recruitment remains open.
