OAK HILL, W.Va. — Fayette County authorities are investigating the death of a person whose body was found during the execution of a search warrant Tuesday.
After receiving a report of a possible missing person, Oak Hill Police Department officers conducted a search inside a residence in the Wildwood Place community and located the body of person who reportedly appeared to have been dead for several days.
The identity of the victim was not disclosed but a general description of the body appears to match the subject of the missing person complaint, according to investigators.
The cause of death has not been determined.
