Eric and Kevin Return

They’re back! After nearly a decade off the air, WV radio icons Eric McGuire and Kevin Connoley have launched their first installment of the new Eric & Kevin Show.

In late December 2019 a one-hour feature titled “Remembering Eric McGuire” was released on wvmetronews.com and a slew of Podcast platforms like Google Podcasts, iTunes, Spotify, iHeartRadio and Spreaker. The feature explored McGuire’s career, which was cut short due to health concerns in February of 2011. Although many believed McGuire had passed, social promotion for the feature quickly went viral and thousands learned that not only was McGuire alive, but he and longtime cohost Kevin Connoley were working together again on an upcoming project.

After nearly a decade, Eric McGuire and Kevin Connoley have released their first installment of The Eric and Kevin Show. Fittingly titled “Return of Eric McGuire and Kevin Connoley” the special features a conversation surrounding the dangers of social media, a visit from Sportscaster Tony Caridi and plunges into major news and events that occurred since they last were heard on the radio airwaves. McGuire, as cantankerous as always, consistently pushes buttons, while tiptoeing the edge of political correctness. Connoley, now a lawyer in Morgantown, is the quintessential opposite, attempting to keep Eric within the updated boundaries of social acceptance.

McGuire and Connoley plan on providing a half hour to an hour of new content each week. Each installment will be available at the listener’s convenience and can be downloaded or streamed (free) through websites like wvmetronews.com, wvaq.com, and 941qzk.com.

Podcast–savvy listeners can also access the content on a variety of Platforms like Deezer, Podchaser, iTunes, Google Podcasts, Spotify and many more.

Brave souls who would like to contact Eric and Kevin can leave messages for them at 304-584-SHOW (7469). Warning: they will likely play that message on a future installment of The Eric and Kevin Show!
